I worked in a pizza joint for 2 years, nothing wrong with that. The eats are great.
I work in an artificial limb factory, in the stores. I do all the despatching to customers all over the world.
The best thing about this job is, I get to tell people I'm an International Arms Dealer.
Kinda like "actress" used to be a polite way of saying prostitute.

1. do you sell to the general public?
2. do you need to have a specific medical reason to order from your company or can anyone?
I'm really scared to think where you're going with that.
BTW, I've drawn up the adoption papers - they're all ready for you to sign.

1) Not usually directly. The patients generally come to us through hospital prosthetic clinics. Most of the stuff I send out goes to the companies that run the clinics; everything's put out to tender these days, there are four main companies in this country that provide these services: RSL Steeper (that's the one I work for), Otto Bock, Blatchfords and Orthopaedic Services.
2) I suppose you could order off-the-shelf bits without a medical reason, but it's not standard practice. Like I say, it usually tends to be trade sales only. Also, be warned most of this stuff isn't cheap.
I'm a Senior Support Worker working with adults with learning disabilities in a supported living environment.
I am a a Storeman at the University Of Warwick. Not a bad wage but a very easy job with access to the net all day long.
Supplying goods to the trades on Campus, ie. Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters etc...
Been a Storeman most of my working life. Wanted to be a Rockstar when at school but got little if no incouragement from the family.
But my job has got me all I want in life now. A great wife and kids, a home, food and beer, all the cd's I want, holidays to Thailand. Always seem to get by.
